The "Universale" chair designed by Joe Colombo in 1965 and first produced by the Italian furniture company Kartell in 1967 is made of polypropylene and due to its interchangeable legs and developed base element the chair can be adjusted in height (both chairs available come in the lower seating version). As the name already says the universale chair emerged from the idea of creating a chair for universal use, suitable for indoor and outdoor.
